Yolanda

Please watch and share this touching 10-minute documentary put together by Sean Delahay who volunteered with Young Pioneer Disaster Response (YPDR) last year. This film captured scenes and expressions from the survivors of Super Typhoon Yolanda in Bantayan Island. After 15 months, there are still thousands of families who are living in tents or unsafe shelters. You can help in the rehabilitation of the island by going to www.ypdr.org












'Yolanda' is a short documentary based around the experiences and after effects of super-typhoon Haiyan know to the locals as 'Yolanda' and how NOG's (Non Government Organisation's) like YPDR (Young Pioneer Disaster Response) and PAH (Polish Humanitarian Action) have rehabilitated islands such as Bantayan island in the central visayas.

New houses for 54 Filipino families

By the beginning of January we distributed construction materials for 183 families from Bantayan Island, Cebu Province in the Philippines. 54 of those families already have new homes. The construction works are still ongoing and we are planning to reconstruct 800 houses.
